Eligibility Criteria for Admission in BS Allied Health Sciences Degree Programs
(Affiliated with University of Health Sciences, Lahore)

  1. Program Overview:

Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Sciences is a 4-year degree program comprising 8 semesters. The program is designed to prepare competent professionals in various healthcare disciplines under the curriculum and regulations approved by the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore.

  • BS Medical Imaging Technology (4 year)
  • BS Medical Labatory Technology (4 year)
  • BS Operation Theatre Technology (4 year)
  • BS Human Nutrition & Dietetics (4 year)
  1. Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants seeking admission must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Academic Qualification:
  • F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) or equivalent with:
    • Minimum 60% unadjusted marks from any recognized Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Pakistan.
  • Age Limit:
  • There is no age restriction for admission in BS Allied Health Sciences degree programs.
  1. Required Documents:

Candidates must scan and upload the following original documents on admission portal:

  • Matriculation (SSC) Certificate
  • Intermediate (F.Sc. Pre-Medical) Certificate
  • Domicile Certificate
  • National Identity Card/Form-B
  • Passport size photographs

Important Notes:

  • It is mandatory for all applicants to have their original Matriculation and F.Sc (Pre-Medical) certificates or result cards attested by the Inter Board Coordination Commission (IBCC).
  • Students who have obtained their F.Sc from a province other than Punjab are required to provide a Migration Certificate/NOC.

Equivalence certificate from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) is mandatory for foreign qualifications.

  • All applicants are required to successfully qualify entrance test conducted by the institute.

Admission will be granted purely on merit basis and merit will be determined based on the aggregate percentage calculated from:

  • Matriculation (10%)
  • F.Sc. Pre-Medical (40%)
  • Entry Test / Interview (50%)

 

BS Nursing (BSN) 4 Years Degree Program

  1. Program Overview:

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is a 4-year degree program comprising 8 semesters. The program is designed to prepare professional nurses equipped with the knowledge, clinical skills, and ethical values necessary to provide high-quality patient care in diverse healthcare settings. The curriculum and regulations are approved by the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore.

  1. Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants seeking admission must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Academic Qualification:
    • F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks (Physics, Chemistry & Biology as compulsory subjects).
  • Age Limit:
    • Minimum: 14 years
    • Maximum: 35 years
  • Gender:
    • Open merit (both male and female candidates are eligible).
  1. Required Documents:

Candidates must scan and upload the following original documents on the admission portal:

  • Matriculation (SSC) Certificate
  • Intermediate (F.Sc. Pre-Medical) Certificate
  • Domicile Certificate
  • National Identity Card / Form-B
  • Passport size photographs

  • Diploma in General Nursing (or BScN) completed
  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) and have valid PNMC (Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council) license
  • Permission from employer (for in-service candidates)
  • Age Limit:
  • There is no age restriction for admission in 1-Year Post Basic Diploma Program in Nursing.
  1. Admission Test:

Post RN BS Nursing 2 years’ degree program

  1. Program Overview:

The Post RN Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Post RN BSN) is a 2-year degree program comprising 4 semesters. The program is designed to enhance the professional knowledge and clinical skills of registered nurses, preparing them for leadership roles in healthcare practice, education, and management. The curriculum and regulations are approved by the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore.

  1. Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants seeking admission must meet the following requirements:

  • Academic Qualification:
    • Matric with Science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics as compulsory subjects) OR Matric Arts (as per HEC Notification No. 8 (61)/A&A/2018/HEC/5998 dated 06.04.2018).
  • Professional Qualification:
    • Diploma in Nursing.
    • Diploma in Midwifery (for females) OR any Post Basic Specialty Diploma (for males in lieu of Midwifery).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 01 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
    • Must be currently registered with the Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PN&MC).
  • Age Limit & Gender:
    • No restriction on age or gender.
  1. Required Documents:

Candidates must scan and upload the following original documents on the admission portal:

  • Matriculation (SSC) Certificate.
  • Diploma in Nursing.

Post Basic Diploma in Critical Care Nursing (1 Year Diploma Program)

The Post Basic Diploma in Critical Care Nursing is a 1-year specialized diploma program aimed at enhancing the competencies of registered nurses in providing advanced care to critically ill patients in intensive and high-dependency care settings. The program is designed in line with the requirements of the Nursing Examination Board, Punjab, and equips nurses with the knowledge and clinical expertise required for managing complex cases in ICUs, CCUs, and emergency units.

Applicants seeking admission must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license issued by the Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PNMC).
