Department of Anesthesia at PKLI&RC offers outstanding contemporary anesthetic care for its patients. The department is equipped with highly specialized monitoring and assist devices system to cater to liver and kidney transplant and high-end surgical patients safely. PKLI is a mother institution to deal with malignant hyperthermic patients, coagulation crippled patients for any surgical procedures, patients who need difficult intubation management, etc. We provide satellite anesthetic services to different departments according to their needs and manage acute and chronic pain in collaboration with the other concerned specialties through Pain Clinic. The department is also conducting basic and clinical research and managing continuing education programs.
