Overview
Dr Salman completed his graduation from Allama Iqbal Medical College in 2004. He did FCPS in diagnostic radiology in 2011 and was trained at Shifa International Hospital (SIH), Islamabad. He has done 1-year fellowship in cross-sectional imaging from Shifa International Hospital. He has passed Final FRCR A examination and awaiting his turn to appear on the Final FRCR B examination.
During his 6 years of Post FCPS experience at SIH, his core interest and skill has been body imaging, including preoperative imaging of liver donors as well as postoperative imaging of both donors and recipients. He is a CPSP (College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan) approved supervisor for training in diagnostic radiology and currently has three post-graduate residents registered with him at PKLI&RC. He is committed to passing on his knowledge regarding Hepatobiliary and Liver transplant imaging at PKLI&RC. He has made multiple oral and poster presentations in RSP (Radiological Society of Pakistan) annual conferences during his career, both at SIH and PKLI&RC.
