Overview
- He graduated from King Edward Medical College. Initially received training at Mayo Hospital Lahore and then trained in various hospitals in the UK. He received training in General Medicine and Gastroenterology and obtained membership (MRCP) in the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom. He later joined the teaching faculty of Allama Iqbal Medical Colleg, Lahore. He served there for 27 years. He was heavily involved in teaching and training. He was a former professor & Vice-Principal at Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore. He was also the former President, of the Pakistan Society of Gastroenterology and Society of Hepatology. He was also the Former Executive Editor Pakistan Journal of Gastroenterology
