Dr. Imran Ali Syed is a consultant hepatologist and gastroenterologist with fellowship training in gastroenterology from Shaikh Zayed Hospital, Lahore and specialized transplant hepatology training from Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Center. He also gained international clinical experience during a two-year tenure at King Khaled General Hospital, Riyadh, KSA.
At the national level, he has been part of more than 1,000 liver transplants, contributing to multidisciplinary peri- and post-transplant care for advanced liver disease. In addition to his clinical work, he serves as a departmental research lead, actively promoting evidence-based hepatology practice. He has authored multiple publications in international peer-reviewed journals focusing on liver transplantation, hepatobiliary disease, and clinical outcomes. His career reflects a strong integration of advanced clinical expertise, transplant medicine, and research-driven care aimed at improving patient outcomes.
