Overview
He graduated from Dow Medical College, the University of Karachi in 1996. His Basic medical training was at Aga Khan University Hospital where he held the post of Chief Resident in Medicine. He was awarded the title of Best 1st-year and 3rd-year resident during residency.
He worked and trained at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals and University Hospitals of North Tees.
He was involved in quality improvement projects and worked as Audit and clinical Governance Lead in the United Kingdom. He worked as a Consultant Physician at Doncaster Royal Infirmary, South Yorkshire UK from 2010 to 2018. He was a former Chairman Department of Hepatology/Gastroenterology, PKLI&RC.
