Overview
Dr. M. Yasir Khan has been working as a Consultant HPB/Liver Transplant surgeon at PKLI& RC since March 2018. He is the Pioneer member of surgical team which started Liver Transplant Program at PKLI & RC and has so far successfully completed 300 Living Donor Related Liver Transplants. He has been a member as Subject expert on subcommittees of Punjab Human Organ Transplant Authority for formulating Sops of Swap Transplant, Donor& Recipient Workup for Liver Transplant and Cadaveric Transplant. At PKLI & RC he has compiled the Liver Transplant Policy and was a member of the subcommittee which laid down Donor & Recipient care pathway guidelines. He has been involved in more than 800 living donor Liver Transplants. He has represented PKLI&RC as invited speaker and master Trainer at distinguished Surgical and Hepatology Forums.
