The endoscopy unit is a training, teaching, and research-active unit which is fully equipped with video endoscopes and associated equipment. The unit consists of endoscopy theatre, which has the facility to undertake X-ray screening procedures.
It provides an International level healthcare facility in upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasonography, capsule endoscopy, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, endoscopic ultrasound scan, esophageal dilation variceal banding, stenting & balloon enteroscopy, pancreatic cyst drainage, luminal endoscopy, and bronchoscopy. The ethos of the unit is to provide high-quality patient care provided by a team of gastroenterologists, surgeons, and nurse endoscopists supported by nursing staff, technicians, and clerical staff.
