Finance Director

Mr. Wazir Muhammad is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) with extensive experience in accounts, audit and finance since June 1997. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in July 2002 and contributed to the development of an Accounting Policies and Procedures Manual for Shifa International Hospitals Limited, a JCIA-accredited hospital and a listed company on the Pakistan Stock Exchange. In April 2003, he joined Shifa as Accounts and Finance Manager and progressed to the position of General Manager. His responsibilities included attending Audit Committee and Board of Directors (BOD) meetings until May 2017.

In June 2017, Mr. Wazir became the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute & Research Center (PKLI&RC). He also served as Secretary to the Board of Governors.

In May 2019, he joined Saif Healthcare Limited, a Saif Group company, as CFO. His responsibilities included improving receivables management, working capital optimization, inventory control, performance reviews, and implementing revenue enhancement and cost-saving measures.

Mr. Wazir rejoined PKLI&RC as Finance Director in September 2024. He has vast experience working with regulatory authorities, financial institutions, and government departments. His expertise spans strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, feasibility studies, and overseeing costing procedures. His career reflects a consistent focus on enhancing the financial performance and operational efficiency of organizations.
